The project represents a series of photos of country summer residences of inhabitants of Khabarovsk which is on islands of the river the Cupid which gradually disappear as the phenomenon. 
It is a unique sotsio-cultural organism, has spontaneously arisen in the late fifties, the beginning of 60th years of last century on the thrown earths near to an industrial city which is on the Far East of Russia. Full freedom of land tenure, absence of a regulation and control from officials were attractive factors in development of these islands. These territories had no interest from managing subjects because of constant flooding, fires, absence of roads and an electricity. Summer residents for fun began to name "Sadists" since despite infinite flooding and  destruction of landings, all of them equally continued to land plants. Only five months in a year there is a possibility of the message with the islands, only five months in a year people had a possibility to realize the private interests, to solve material problems, to retire from city daily occurrence. Dreams the average Soviet person of a freedom, beauty, independence, it was expressed in originality of shapes of constructions. These houses are collected from a waste of socialist manufacture. Riches of invoices, illogicalness of architecture, a paradoxicality of forms and a decor, incomprehensibility of functions of separate elements of the house, style uncertainty, represent certain art value. Civilizations are born and die, in some years this will disappear also …
